Online Block Coding Classes for Girls (7-12)
Digital Girl Block Coding operates through project-based learning, where girls apply the concepts they learn to build Apps throughout the course, in high-quality, immersive experiences. Creating apps makes learning coding practical instead of theoretical.
With the platform of Code.Org, computer science fundamentals will be imparted to students, with the knowledge that learning these skills is preparation and absolutely essential for active and informed participation in an increasingly digital society. Whether our Digital Girls go on to pursue careers in technology or not, coding can provide life-changing and lucrative opportunities
Block Coding Module 1
Girls will start their coding journey here. Girls will build fun games and, in the process, learn core coding concepts, like algorithms, conditionals and loops.
Block Coding Module 2
Girls will further strengthen their foundational coding concepts by learning Variables, Functions, Events, Complex Loops and applying these lessons to build fully functional apps.
Block Coding Module 3
Girls will learn how to apply dimension and colour rules in combination to manipulate app elements.
Block Coding Module 4
