STEM the Gap Academy is a revolution! We provide virtual STEM tutoring for girls who are ready to take their rightful places in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. These fields have long been male-dominated, and we are here to change that.
Through personalised online tutoring and mentoring, we help girls build strong foundations in math and science while strengthening confidence, critical thinking and real problem-solving skills. We are a team of women in STEM who understand the barriers firsthand and are committed to changing the narrative.

We tell girls the truth of what they’re up against. We prepare them by explaining that reality of the injustices currently embedded in the system.

Our educators are Women in STEM and we model that for all of our students. If girls see it modelled before them, they understand that it is possible for them also.

We equip girls by giving them an in-depth education and understanding of the various disciplines so they are incredibly skilled and love the process of learning.

We teach them the importance of self-worth, confidence, grit, and focus when it comes to taking on and tearing down systemic injustice.
Private Online Chess Classes for Girls
We offer personalised online chess lessons for girls, led by passionate women players from around the world. Whether learning the fundamentals or refining advanced strategy, girls develop focus, strategic thinking, patience and confidence — skills that strengthen not only their game, but how they approach challenges in school and in life.
Online Digital Literacy for Girls and Their Families
Our Digital Street Smarts workshops teach girls and their families essential digital literacy skills, including online safety, privacy awareness, responsible social media use and understanding artificial intelligence. We provide practical strategies to help families navigate the digital world with confidence.
Online Math Tutoring for Girls
We provide personalised online math tutoring for girls from elementary school through university-level studies. Our support includes algebra, geometry, advanced functions and calculus, with additional topics tailored to each student’s level and goals. We focus on building strong foundations, deep understanding and confident problem-solving to support success in STEM pathways at every stage.
Online Science Tutoring for Girls
We provide personalised online science tutoring in biology, chemistry, physics and biochemistry, helping girls build deep understanding and confidence in foundational and advanced scientific concepts. Our approach strengthens analytical thinking, scientific reasoning and real-world application while encouraging curiosity and persistence.
