Coding Badges 2 & 3 for Juniors

In the Digital Game Design and App Development badge class, Juniors will dive into the exciting world of coding and game design. They’ll learn how to “talk to computers” by writing code using sequences, loops, and conditionals to create clear instructions that computers can follow. Through fun, hands-on activities, they’ll explore how coding is used to solve problems and make a difference. Then, they’ll take their skills further by designing their own video game and learning how algorithms and conditionals create challenges and choices. They’ll plan, build, test, and improve a maze game while discovering how coding can be creative, impactful, and fun! This class also celebrates the contributions of women in computer science and inspires girls to see how they can shape the future with technology.
