Summer PLAYLAND! is coming your way!

 Join us for daily chess tournaments, short lessons, and the opportunity to learn chess variants. Summer PLAYLAND! is your Chess Girl’s chance to come together with other girls at STEM the Gap Academy and enjoy up to three exciting games of chess each day. But it's not just about playing – it's also about learning and growing as chess players!

 Each session will begin with a 15-minute review of a chess concept to help sharpen skills and deepen understanding. Then, it's time for practice and games. Your Chess Girls will have the chance to put their newfound knowledge to the test as they play against each other.

At the beginning of each month, we'll release a list of subjects to be covered during PLAYLAND! that month.

Girls must have completed Course 1 at STEM the Gap Academy or understand castling, checkmate, and the rules of chess to join this program.
